EKLEIDO

Ekleido is a choreographic duo formed by Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser, recognised for creating mesmerising and dynamic work across live performance and film. Their artistic practice embraces multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with leading figures in the electronic music scene. Ekleido’s distinctive choreographic voice combine’s a unique blend of contemporary dance with underground club dance influences.

Their seminal double bill, Splice | Rorschach, received widespread critical acclaim - including a four-star review in The Guardian - during its sold-out London premiere at The Place in 2024. Splice and Rorschach have since toured extensively to major venues and festivals including Glastonbury Festival, Sadler’s Wells, Latitude Festival, DanceEast, Exeter Northcott, The Gulbenkian, and Theatre Royal Glasgow, and was selected for the Rural Touring Dance Initiative menu for 2025–2026, bringing the double bill to rural areas across the UK. Touring continues into 2026, including international tour dates.

Ekleido’s dance film Splice, released on NOWNESS in 2025, was nominated for a Critic’s Circle National Dance Award. They have also been commissioned by Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage to create a new dance film for release in June 2026.

Individually, Hannah and Faye have extensive careers across contemporary dance, the commercial industry, and underground club and street dance scenes. Their choreographic credits include: Marc Jacobs, Maison Margiela, NIKE, Joy Crookes, RAYE, Floating Points, British Vogue, Daniel Avery, Grey Goose, La Roux, Rambert School, Emergence.
Their performing highlights include: Ohad Naharin, Alexander Whitley, Benoit Pouffer, Didy Veldman, Clod Ensemble, Years & Years, Rambert,  Natalia Osipova, Wicked Movie, Sam Smith, Kylie Minogue, BBC, Calvin Harris, Gareth Pugh, Lacoste.

The name Ekleido is a fusion of the words Echo and Kaleidoscope as well as the word Eido which in Greek means to perceive or discover, which represents the work they are creating.

    Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, Hannah Ekholm trained at the Royal Swedish Ballet School before moving to London. As a dancer Hannah has worked in both theatre and commercial spaces, working with artists and companies such as Raye, Studio Canal, Lacoste, Didy Veldman, Natalia Osipova, CR Fashion Book, Daniel Avery, Calvin Harris, Gareth Pugh, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Sam Smith, Rambert and many more. As a choreographer she has worked with artists and brands such as La Roux, NIKE, Tinie Tempah, Floating Points, Joy Crookes, Cash App, Huawei and Grey Goose. 

    Her own work ‘Stimuli’ premiered at Resolution Dance Festival, a multidisciplinary work including live music and dance. Hannah is also a New Way Voguer part of the international vogue house ‘ELLE’, and has walked/ competed internationally and won multiple times. She has judged balls / events, as well as hosting her own ball in London.

    Faye Stoeser studied at London Studio Centre and went on to join Rambert 2 where she completed her MA whilst performing works by choreographers including Ohad Naharin, Benoit Swan Pouffer and Itzik Galili.

    Faye’s fast emerging choreographic career has led to her being commissioned to make work on professional companies and Higher Education programs including: Paraorchestra, Rambert School, Emergence, London Contemporary Dance School, INTOTO, London Studio Centre, and more; with commercial choreographer & movement director credits include: Saul Nash, Marc Jacobs, British Vogue.

    As a performer, Faye worked with companies and choreographers including: Clod Ensemble, Jose Agudo, Rambert, Richard Chappell Dance, Julia Cheung, Dickson Mbi, and more. Faye has also danced commercially for TV, live shows, film, campaigns, fashion and music videos with credits including: BBC, Wicked Movie, Years & Years, Kylie Minogue, Jax Jones, Sam Smith, Virgin Atlantic, Verizon, Toyota.

    Alongside Faye’s dance career, she became part of the Ballroom Scene in 2016, where she specialises in New Way Voguing and is part of the House of Revlon. Faye received international recognition within her category after multiple international wins, training New Way ‘kids’ around the globe, judging Balls internationally and organising her own Balls in London.
